Refurbished MEI AE-2451 Bill Validator 2008 $5 Ready

The AE 2000 series bill acceptor is widely known as the best validator on the market.  The AE-2400 was the start of the 2000 series legend, and it is still outperforming its competitors even today.  This unit is what’s known as a “flashport” model, which means it can be upgraded using a simple hand held programmer for any new currency updates that come out.  These validators have already been upgraded to the latest currency versions, including the 2008 $5 bill.  The AE series validators are made specifically for gaming/amusement applications, and cannot be used in vending machines.

The AE-2451 is different from the AE-2411 only slightly, with a modified bezel design.  This design allows it to fit into a couple of unique mounting locations in gaming type machines, where an AE-2411 doesn’t quite fit.
